I was walking home from a late shift on Friday at 8:45 pm when I spotted a bundle of white sheets wedged between a bench and a wheelie bin outside Cardiff Central Library. They looked clean and freshly laundered, neatly folded as if ready for a guest room. My heart sank a little, thinking someone must be worried and searching for them, so I picked them up and kept them safe while I posted this note. If these sheets are yours, you’ll recognise the crisp fabric and the exact place I found them: just outside the main doors, beside the lamppost where the rain had left a slick on the pavement.
