I found a framed watercolor painting this afternoon around 3:15pm outside the Royal Pavilion on Marine Parade. It’s a roughly 12x16 inch piece in a matte black wood frame, showing a moody seascape with the Brighton Pier and a bright red lighthouse off to the left. The painting bears the signature 'L. Hartman 2019' in the bottom-right corner. The frame has a small dent along the bottom edge and a minor scratch on the glass, but otherwise it’s in good condition. I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner—if you can describe the painting’s title, the signature, or the back-of-frame tag, I’ll get it back to you quickly.

It's about 8 inches tall, with a blue glaze and tiny gold specks, and there's a small chip on the rim plus a circular base stamp that reads 'Lina S'. It looks handmade by a local artist and has a delicate, sentimental vibe.
