Pastel plush unicorn with lavender mane found near Brighton Pier
Found a pastel plush unicorn this afternoon around 3pm along the Brighton seafront near the Pier arcade. It's about 12 inches tall, pale pink with a lavender mane and tail, and a sparkly gold horn. A rainbow ribbon is tied around its neck, and there's a tiny blue star embroidery on the left hoof plus a worn 'Sunny Friends' label. Looks well-loved but not damaged. If you recognize it, let me know and we can figure out how to get it back to its owner.
Found vintage Elgin pocket watch with engravings
I found a vintage Elgin pocket watch this afternoon around 2:15pm by the Palace Pier on the Brighton seafront. It's a gold-tone case, about 4 cm across, with a white dial and black Roman numerals. The back is engraved with tiny initials 'A.J.' and there’s a delicate ornate pattern that catches the light. The crystal has a small crack near 3 o'clock, and the attached chain has a short, worn link, like it’s been carried in a pocket for decades. This is clearly a collector's item, and I’d really like to get it back to its owner—it felt special seeing it gleam in the sun. If anyone recognizes it, please get in touch.
Framed watercolor painting of Brighton Pier
I found a framed watercolor painting this afternoon around 3:15pm outside the Royal Pavilion on Marine Parade. It’s a roughly 12x16 inch piece in a matte black wood frame, showing a moody seascape with the Brighton Pier and a bright red lighthouse off to the left. The painting bears the signature 'L. Hartman 2019' in the bottom-right corner. The frame has a small dent along the bottom edge and a minor scratch on the glass, but otherwise it’s in good condition. I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner—if you can describe the painting’s title, the signature, or the back-of-frame tag, I’ll get it back to you quickly.
Blue hand-painted ceramic vase, found near Brighton Dome
I found a hand-painted ceramic vase this afternoon around 2:15pm in the Brighton Dome Courtyard outside the entrance on Church Street, tucked between a planter and the stairs. It's about 8 inches tall, with a blue glaze and tiny gold specks, and there's a small chip on the rim plus a circular base stamp that reads 'Lina S'. It looks handmade by a local artist and has a delicate, sentimental vibe. If it's yours, reply with a matching detail (chip on the rim or the base signature) and we can meet near the Dome to return it.
Found a hand-painted ceramic vase with vibrant colors and intricate floral designs at Brighton beach.
I found a stunning hand-painted ceramic vase while strolling along Brighton beach yesterday. It has vibrant colors and intricate floral designs, and seems like it may be a valuable piece. If someone lost it, I would really love to return it to its rightful owner.
