I found a tote of holiday decorations by a bench near the Monroe County Public Library in Bloomington on Friday around 6:15 PM while I was walking home from class along Kirkwood Avenue. A jumble of string lights, shiny ornaments, and a red bow looked like someone’s carefully packed stash. I lost my bearded dragon, Ember, yesterday around 3pm. She's about 12 inches from snout to tail, orange-tan with darker brown banding along the back and tiny white speckles on her belly. She was last seen in my Bloomington apartment near the Sample Gates on East 10th Street after a door slipped open while I was bringing in groceries. If someone spots her, please call me; she's more than a pet to me—she's my daily comfort, and it would mean everything to have her back. She has a small scar on the top of her head from a past shed and a slight bend in one of her claws, which makes her a bit distinctive.
