I lost my CDs after a walk back from the Indiana University campus. It was around 9:45 p.m. last Friday, along Kirkwood Avenue near the Sample Gates when I realized they were missing from my backpack. They include a cherished live jazz recording and a few indie discs, all in a black jewel case with a red sticker. Losing them feels silly but personal—these were the ones I’d put on during late-night study sessions in the library or dorm. I retraced steps across Kirkwood, past the IU Auditorium lights, and checked the Monroe County Public Library, but I haven’t found them yet. They were everything to my music collection, and I’m hopeful they’ll turn up somewhere nearby.
Last Friday at around 3:40 p.m., I realized my passport was missing from my tote after I grabbed a latte near Sample Gate on the IU campus. I hurried back toward Kirkwood Avenue, checking every bench along the way, but it wasn’t there. The blue passport booklet with my initials feels like a lifeline, since I’m due to travel in two weeks and the application process would be a nightmare to repeat. I’m anxious and frustrated, but hopeful someone honest may have picked it up. If you found it, I’d be endlessly grateful to have it returned to me through the site.
I was settling in for a quiet movie night and last placed the two remote controls on the living room coffee table in my apartment on Kirkwood Ave, just off the Indiana University campus, around 7:45 PM on Monday. After a quick jog around Sample Gates, I returned to find them missing and the TV begging for a proper controller. I’ve gone over the couch cushions, under the sofa, and through the backpack, but they’re gone. They’re small, black, and familiar, and I’d love to have them back where they belong.
Last Tuesday around 9:40 PM, after dinner near the IU Sample Gates, I realized my utensil pouch had vanished from my bag. Inside were a mismatched set: two forks, a spatula, all in a blue tin with a small dent in the corner. I remember leaving the pouch by the campus bookstore steps, close to the gate where the students lounge on warm evenings. I’m feeling a bit annoyed and hopeful that someone picked it up and can reunite me with my everyday tools.

I found a tote of holiday decorations by a bench near the Monroe County Public Library in Bloomington on Friday around 6:15 PM while I was walking home from class along Kirkwood Avenue. A jumble of string lights, shiny ornaments, and a red bow looked like someone’s carefully packed stash. I figured they must belong to someone who is excited to decorate for the holidays, so I kept them safe on my apartment porch and posted here. If these are yours, I hope they bring your home a little extra cheer.
