Found leopard gecko with orange tail near Brindleyplace
I found a leopard gecko this afternoon around 3:15pm, wandering along the canal walk near Brindleyplace, by Broad Street and the Water's Edge café. It was in a small plastic terrarium with a lid and a heat mat, sitting next to a damp towel by the bike racks. The gecko has a bright orange tail and dark brown spots along its back. There’s a tiny white scar above its left eye and a chipped scale on its right hind toe. The enclosure was labeled with a note that said to handle with care, so I’ve kept it safe and dry while I try to track the owner. If this sounds like yours, I’d love to get it back to you—share feeding details or the scar on its toe to confirm it’s yours.
Found a small green anole lizard in a backyard in Birmingham, Alabama, appearing healthy and accustomed to handling.
I found a small green anole lizard in my backyard in Birmingham yesterday. It seems healthy and is quite lively. There's a chance it escaped from a nearby pet owner, as I can see it is very accustomed to being handled. If you are missing your little guy, please get in touch!
