Hand-painted ceramic vase with blue floral glaze
I found a hand-painted ceramic vase this afternoon around 2:15pm near the entrance to the Kellogg Arena parking lot on West Michigan Avenue in Battle Creek. It's about 9 inches tall, cream-colored with bright blue floral patterns and a slightly chipped rim, which helps it stand out. There's a small maker's mark on the bottom that reads 'BC Studio' in faded gold. It seems clearly decorative, not a daily-use piece, and it feels like it might hold sentimental value to its owner. If this is yours, send a message here and describe the bottom mark and approximate size so I can get it back to you.
Framed landscape painting in ornate gold frame
I found a framed landscape painting this afternoon outside the Kellogg Arena on Michigan Ave in Battle Creek. It’s about 18x24 inches, an oil-on-canvas piece with muted greens and warm sunset oranges, housed in an ornate gold frame with a tiny dent on the top edge. On the back there’s a red sticker with the initials KB and a small gallery label from 'Chroma Studio'. The painting is signed in the lower right corner by 'L. Hartman'. I know someone must be missing this—if you recognize the piece, please reach out; I’d really like to help get it back.
Lost soft light blue teddy bear with bright red bow near the playground at Riverside Park in Battle Creek.
I lost my son's favorite teddy bear near the playground at Riverside Park in Battle Creek. It's a soft, light blue color and has a bright red bow around its neck. We last saw it when we were having a picnic, and it might have been left behind in the grass. My son is really upset about it!
