Found leopard gecko near Pulteney Bridge
I found a small leopard gecko this morning around 9:15am near the steps by Pulteney Bridge in Bath. It’s about 4 inches long from snout to tail, with sandy-green skin and brown spots, and the tail tapers to a pale blue ring near the base. There’s a tiny scar on its left flank, and the skin looks healthy and smooth overall. It seemed calm when I picked it up and I offered a little water, and it stayed still in my cupped hands. Found a small budgie this afternoon around 3:15pm near Pulteney Bridge by Parade Gardens in Bath. It's a vibrant blue and yellow bird, about the size of my palm, with a white cheek patch and a bright red leg ring on the right leg. It chirps happily when approached and seems relatively tame, though a bit skittish. A distinctive tail feather is a touch bent, and there’s a tiny scar on its left foot from a past scrape. I’ve kept it somewhere safe for now and would love to see it back with its owner.
