Found CDs near Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, Appleton
I found these CDs this morning, around 11:42 a.m., while walking along the riverfront behind the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton. They were resting on a bench next to a scatter of sunlight. It looked like someone had paused here after a show or a rehearsal in the bustling downtown corridor, not far from the river. I picked them up, checked for any identifying notes, and decided to post them here so the owner could reclaim them. CDs like these matter to people, and I’d want someone to do the same if I’d misplaced them.
Lost: Paperback copy of Educated with fox bookmark
Hey there, I lost my paperback copy of Educated by Tara Westover yesterday around 3pm. I think it slipped out near the Appleton Public Library on College Ave, by the cafe across from the bus stop. It's a white paperback with blue title, a bent spine, about 324 pages. Inside, there’s a handmade fox-shaped bookmark peeking at page 127, and a coffee ring on the bottom edge. I also slipped a small receipt inside near page 96 with my name, Amina Patel, on it. This book was a gift from my grandmother and holds a lot of sentimental value for me; I’d really appreciate getting it back. If you found it, please email me with a quick note—thank you so much.
Red hardcover mystery novel with bookmark and note
I lost my red hardcover mystery novel yesterday around 3pm near the Appleton Public Library on College Avenue. It's a 2019 hardcover edition of 'The Midnight Library' by Matt Haig, with a red dust jacket and a tiny coffee stain on the back. Inside there's a folded note from a friend tucked between pages and a blue ribbon bookmark I always use, plus a small doodle of a leaf on the inside cover. This book has sentimental value because it was a gift from my grandmother, and I really need it back.
Red-spined paperback found near Oshkosh Public Library
I found a paperback mystery outside the Oshkosh Public Library this afternoon around 3:15pm, near the east entrance by the bike racks on High Ave. The cover features a lighthouse and a bold white title, with a bright red spine. Inside, a blue ribbon bookmark peeks out from between pages and there’s a sticky note on page 97 with the initials 'A.L.'. The back cover has a small coffee stain and the corners are slightly worn. I’m hoping to reunite it with its owner; if this sounds like your book, I’d love to help get it back to you.
