Blue hardcover 'The Pragmatic Programmer' found
I found a blue hardcover copy of The Pragmatic Programmer by Andrew Hunt and David Thomas this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the Ames Public Library on Kellogg Avenue. The cover is a bit worn, with a coffee stain on the first page and a small pencil note in the margin that says CS 101. The pages are clean, and the spine is slightly creased from use. I picked it up and tucked it into my tote, hoping to reunite it with its owner—it's obviously well-loved and carries some sentimental value. If this is yours, shoot me an email and we can figure out how to get it back.
Seagate 1TB external hard drive with blue sticker
I lost my gray Seagate 1TB external hard drive yesterday around 3pm. It's the size of a small paperback, with a blue galaxy sticker on the front and a tiny dent on the bottom-right corner. The USB-C cable is still attached. I probably left it near the Campus Bookstore on Welch Ave as I walked toward the ISU campus library area in Ames. It holds hundreds of travel photos and editing projects—sentimental stuff, not easily replaced. If you found it, please drop me a message; I'd really appreciate getting it back.
Lost paperback copy of 'The Great Gatsby' with name written on first page and dog-eared corners, lost near the park in central Ames.
I lost my beloved copy of 'The Great Gatsby' while reading at the park near central Ames this past weekend. It's a paperback edition with my name written on the first page and a couple of dog-eared corners. If anyone has seen it, I’d really appreciate getting it back!
