Yellow cockatiel with orange cheeks near Walmart
I lost my yellow cockatiel yesterday around 3pm near the Walmart on Colusa Highway in Yuba City. It's a small bird, about the size of a canary, with bright yellow plumage and orange cheeks. The wings are white with light gray speckles, and the tail feathers have a hint of blue when he fans out. The left leg has a tiny blue band that reads 'AZ-12,' and there's a small chip on the tip of one wing. It’s very social and chatty; he’ll whistle tunes if you coax him. This bird means a lot to me—it's a gift from my mom who passed away, so I’m really hoping he’s found and safe.
Green budgie with yellow head found behind Safeway
Found a small green budgie with a bright yellow head this morning around 7:15 a.m. in the parking lot behind the Safeway on Plumas Street, Yuba City. The bird was hopping along the curb, chirping like crazy, and came onto my hand after I offered a millet spray. It has a blue tail, faint black wing bars, and a blue leg band with 'A12' printed on it. It seems healthy, no obvious injuries, but it looked a little stressed being on its own. I’ve kept it in a travel cage in my car for safety. If this is your bird, message me with the leg band code and where it usually perches. I’d love to reunite it with you.
Lost bright green and yellow-faced parakeet named Kiwi from a backyard in Yuba-Sutter.
My parakeet, Kiwi, flew away from my backyard in Yuba-Sutter yesterday afternoon. He's about 6 inches long with bright green feathers and a yellow face. I’m really worried about him as he might be scared and lost. If anyone spots him, please let me know!
