Found two toasters near York Galleria
At about 10:40 am on Saturday, I was walking near the York Galleria when I spotted two toasters tucked behind a bench by the food court entrance. They are clean, appear unused, and there were no cords or bags attached. I checked for a tag but there wasn't anything obvious. It struck me as odd to find two appliances just waiting for someone to claim them, and I would be glad to help them find their way home.

I lost my teak coffee table with a glass top yesterday around 3pm. It's a 3-foot-long mid-century piece with a carved teak frame and a tempered glass insert, plus a small chip on the front left leg and a sunburst grain along the edge. It was a gift from my grandmother and means a lot to me. I last saw it near Shambles Market on The Shambles in York; I think someone may have moved it to the back area by York Minster that afternoon. It's a clean ivory color with a faint blue edge, and there's a tiny coffee stain on the bottom-right corner plus a small 'LM' initials embroidered on the inner corner. It has sentimental value—my grandmother gave it to me, and I really need it back. If anyone finds it, please get in touch here; I’d be grateful to recover it.

I found a cream fabric ottoman this afternoon around 3:15pm behind the Shambles Market on The Shambles in York. It's a compact 18x18 inch piece with dark wooden legs and brass nailhead trim along the edges. The upholstery is soft cream linen, and there's a small coffee stain on the top right corner plus a tiny dent on one side. It looks like someone’s favorite piece, and I’d love to help reunite it with its owner if you’re missing it. I left it near the market stall center on The Shambles in case someone comes back to claim it.

I found a red tool box along the sidewalk near the entrance of York Park. It was surprisingly heavy and packed with several hand tools, including a hammer, pliers, and a couple of screwdrivers. It looked like someone might have accidentally left it there while working on a project.
