On Friday at 5:15 p.m., I was wrapping up a little guitar practice by Canal Place in downtown Cumberland when my bag with a stack of CDs tumbled onto the bench and one corner slipped behind the planter. The case holds old favorites and a red sticker on the spine, not worth a fortune, but it carries good memories. I drove home thinking I might have left it on Canal Place’s paved walkway or by the canal path, and now I’m kicking myself for not double-checking. If someone found the CDs and tucked them into the lost-and-found, I’d be grateful to reclaim them.
Lost DVDs in downtown Hagerstown near Maryland Theatre
I was leaving the Maryland Theatre in downtown Hagerstown after a show around 7:15 pm last Saturday when I realized my DVDs weren’t in my bag. They’re in a blue double-case with a sticker that says "Family Favorites" and a mix of sci‑fi and classic titles. The set means a lot to me; one of the discs was a copy my grandmother sent years ago, and every time I watch it I think of her. I retraced my steps through the lobby, near the concession stand, and out toward the street, but I didn’t find them. If someone happened to turn them in, I’d be grateful for their return.
