Yesterday around 4:15 p.m., while strolling along the Mississippi Riverfront at Riverside Park in Moline, I found a pair of shoes left behind on a bench. They’re a sturdy black pair with a bright blue stripe and a small scuff on the toe. I picked them up and stood nearby, hoping the owner would walk by and recognize them.
