On Friday around 4:15 PM I realized my devices were missing near Capitol Market in downtown Charleston. I’d been juggling a tote bag as I walked from the farmers market toward the parking deck when a gust knocked the bag from my shoulder. My silver MacBook Air, a black iPhone with a cracked corner, and a white charger were lost in the crowd. I’m a grad student in West Virginia who relies on these tools to finish papers and stay in touch with family. The day had been hectic enough, and now I feel unsettled, hoping someone honest picked them up and will return them through the site.

The back is engraved with the initials 'J.S.' and the chain is still attached but a bit tangled; the crystal has a small crack and the case has a tiny dent.
