It's about 18 inches tall and 12 inches wide, with a few scuffs on the bottom and a frayed inner lining near the top. The front pocket features a small hiking club patch, and there's a bright red water bottle sleeve on the side along with distinctive orange zipper pulls. Inside I didn’t notice anything obviously personal, so I’m keeping it intact and trying to help the owner recognize it by these features. Inside I keep a red notebook, a USB-C cable, and a weathered trail map I use for hikes. It has sentimental value—my grandmother gave it to me, and I really need it back. Unique features: a lime-green paracord keychain with a tiny silver fox charm on the main zipper, and a blue whale sticker on the inside pocket to help identify it from other bags.

I found a black North Face backpack while hiking along the riverbank in West Virginia (old) last weekend. It was just sitting there, looking a bit muddy, but all the straps and zippers seemed to be in great condition.
