Lost & found formal wear in Ventura County

Lost ties in Ventura County, near Ventura Pier.

At 7:15 p.m. on Friday, I realized my navy silk tie and a thinner silver tie bar had slipped from my jacket pocket and vanished near the Ventura Pier. I’d stepped outside the venue to grab a breath and take a quick photo when they disappeared into the fading light. These ties aren’t expensive, but they belong to my late grandfather, and they help me feel like I’m carrying him with me on important days. I searched the benches, the path along the promenade, and the bike rack by Main Street, but nothing turned up. If someone found them, I’d be grateful to be reunited with them.
