Brown-and-white guinea pig with nose blaze
I lost my guinea pig, Pebbles, yesterday around 3pm near the Tyler Public Library on College Ave. She's a tri-color girl, about the size of a softball, with brown, white, and a hint of gray in her fur. She has a distinctive white blaze on her nose and a tiny pink scar behind her left ear. Pebbles was wearing a light blue fabric harness with a small bell when she wandered off, and she loves nibbling hay and lettuce. She’s very friendly with people once she smells you, but she can be skittish if frightened. I adopted her from a rescue last year and she means the world to me—really hoping to get her back safe. If you spot Pebbles, please leave a note here and I can meet you near the library’s front entrance.
Golden hamster found near Broadway Square Mall
I found a small golden hamster this morning around 11:15am in the parking lot behind Broadway Square Mall on S. Broadway Ave in Tyler. It's about the size of a walnut, with fluffy golden-brown fur and a white belly, and a tiny pink nose that twitches when it spots movement. It’s wearing a little blue harness with a tiny silver bell, and there’s a small white patch on its right ear. The little guy seemed scared but okay, and I kept a corner of a tote ready in case he darted. If this belongs to someone, I’d love to help get him back home.
