Found sheet music in Topeka
I found a stack of sheet music this morning around 9:30 a.m. near the downtown entrance of the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library and the steps leading to the Capitol grounds. The pages look like a choir collection, with a title page handwritten 'Brookside Community Choir' and a few notes penciled in the margins. There's coffee staining and a torn corner, which tells me someone was rehearsing not long ago. I picked it up and left it on the library desk, hoping to reunite it with its owner. Lost: Saxophones near Ward-Meade Park
I was wrapping up after a small rehearsal near Ward-Meade Park in Topeka around 6:15 p.m. Friday when I realized my saxophones were missing from my gig bag. There are two saxophones, an alto and a tenor, in separate hard cases. The cases have initials MT on the mouthpieces and a small dent on the tenor bell. I am worried about these instruments because they are essential for my performances and hold a lot of memories.

This instrument is more than a hobby tool--it belonged to my grandfather and I've practiced every week for the last two years; it's really sentimental and I'm anxious to get it back.
