Green parrot with red tail found near Bayshore
Found a bright green parrot this afternoon around 3pm perched on a lamppost along Bayshore Boulevard, just south of the Davis Islands causeway. It has a vivid red tail, blue-tinted wings, and a small white patch around the eyes. It wears a blue leg band with the number 27; I could read the digits when it hopped onto my hand. It seems healthy and vocal, and I’m keeping it in a portable pet carrier to stay safe. If this is your bird, please share distinguishing details and the leg-band number so we can arrange a meetup near the Westshore area.
Green iguana with orange tail and eye scar
I lost my green iguana, about two feet long from snout to tail, bright lime green with an orange tail and a small pink scar under his left eye. It bolted from his terrarium during a routine cleaning yesterday around 3:15pm, and I couldn't coax him back. I last saw him near Plant Park behind the University of Tampa on N Howard Ave, where the palm trees and shrubs hide him in plain sight. This little guy is a family pet with sentimental value, and I'm really hoping for a safe return.

I lost my gray tabby cat with white chest yesterday around 7:15pm near Ballast Point Park along Bayshore Boulevard in South Tampa. He wears a green collar with a small silver bell, and he has a tiny crescent scar on his right ear and white paws that twitch when he purrs. He’s microchipped, and I’m really worried because he’s been with me since he was a kitten; this cat is my little emotional support and he’s part of the family. I found a little green tree frog hopping around my backyard in the Tampa Bay Area last night. It seemed quite harmless and friendly. If this belongs to someone, please let me know! I’d hate to keep this cute little critter away from its home. Hoping to reunite it with its owner soon.
