LOST CAR KEY — STILLWATER We lost a Lexus RX 350 key fob yesterday in Stillwater. We were walking around: • Stillwater Lift Bridge • Riverfront / Lowell Park • Main Street • We also stopped at River Siren Brewing The key fob was in a leather case. I was walking along Main Street near the Stillwater Community Center around 3:22 p.m. today when I spotted two pocket watches left on a bench by the statue. One is gold-tone with an etched monogram, the other silver-tone with a worn chain. I picked them up and kept them safe at a nearby cafe until I could post them here. If you recognize these, I truly hope this helps you get them back to their owner soon.
I lost my Equipment for Various Sports yesterday around 6:30 PM on the OSU South Oval area of the Stillwater campus. It was in a gray duffel with an orange zipper, stuffed with gear for soccer, basketball, and tennis—shin guards, a soccer ball, a basketball, and a tennis racket. I remember sitting on a bench near the student union as the sun dipped behind the library, and the bag wasn’t there when I stood up. My stomach did a flip and I’ve been anxious all night. If someone happened to spot it, I’d appreciate any sign, especially since the gear is irreplaceable to me.
LOST: Last Tuesday around 9:42 PM, I realized my Driver's License was gone after I left the OSU Library steps near the Student Union on the Oklahoma State University campus. I was rushing to catch a bus, coffee in hand, and must have set it down somewhere and walked away. The thought of needing it for work tomorrow makes my stomach drop. I retraced my steps across Stillwater—from the library to the quad and back along the campus paths—but I couldn't locate it. I’m hoping someone found it and turned it in here, so I can sort this out with a minimum headache.
FOUND: I was heading past the OSU Student Union around 5:45 p.m. today when two hamsters wearing little patches of brown and gray were huddled in a blue crate tucked behind a bench near the bookstore. They squeaked as I approached, and I could see one small hamster with a white patch on its chest and the other with a tiny black stripe along its back. They seemed frightened and thirsty, so I grabbed the crate and brought it to a safe spot in my car to keep them warm. I’m posting this here hoping their family is on the other end of this post.
I found two dog leashes outside the Edmon Low Library on the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater around 5:20 p.m. this Saturday. One leash is blue nylon, the other red reflective—both in good shape but obviously left behind by someone in a hurry after walking a pup. I picked them up and dropped them here, hoping the owner will see this and claim them soon. It’s never fun to misplace gear like this, especially when a dog is waiting at home.
