Lost DVDs near downtown St. Joseph
Last Friday around 7:15 PM, I was leaving the Patee House area and heading toward the riverfront when I realized my tote felt lighter. Inside were my DVDs—mostly classic westerns and a few kid-friendly titles in a plain black case. I had planned a quiet movie night and had just picked up popcorn from the little shop on 4th Street. I retraced my steps toward the Carnegie Building but the bag never turned up. If someone turned them in, I would be grateful to get those discs back; they are memories I treasure for family movie nights.

At about 5:40 p.m. last Friday, I found a small stack of postcards tucked behind a bench near the Patee House Museum in downtown St. Joseph. The corners were worn and the stamps looked faded, like a peek into someone’s old memories. I could tell they were someone’s keepsakes—handwritten notes on the backs and a city stamp from years ago. I lost my favorite paperback copy of 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho while walking my dog in the park near St Joseph. It has a few pages dog-eared and my name written on the inside cover. I really hope someone finds it as it holds a lot of sentimental value for me!
