Found travel guide near St George Street
I found a paperback travel guide this afternoon around 2:15pm on St George Street, just outside a cafe by the Bridge of Lions. It's a paperback copy of The Art of Travel with a bright yellow cover and blue lettering. The corners are a little dog-eared and there's a slim red bookmark sticking out from page 134. On the inside cover someone wrote 'Maria Chen' in neat pen, and there's a faint coffee stain along the back. If you're the owner, I'd be happy to get it back to you in St Augustine.
Blue hardcover mystery novel, worn, found near Castillo
Found a blue hardcover mystery novel this afternoon around 2:45pm near the Castillo de San Marcos, tucked under a bench by the information kiosk. It's clearly well-loved—yellowing pages, a bent spine, and a dog-eared corner. Inside the cover there's a red ribbon bookmark and a small lighthouse sticker that might help identify the owner. If you're missing this, I can meet you near the Bridge of Lions or Plaza de la Constitución to hand it over.
Red pocket travel guide with a green post-it note
I lost my red pocket travel guide yesterday around 3pm near the Castillo de San Marcos on King Street. It's a Lonely Planet Pocket Florida, about 4 by 7 inches, with a slightly bent spine and a coffee ring on the back cover. The inside has a bright green Post-it note stuck on page 12 with a quick itinerary, and the pages are dog-eared from frequent use. This book was a gift from my sister and means a lot to me—it's my go-to reference when I explore St Augustine, and I really need it back. If anyone found it, please get in touch; I can meet near the Old City Gate or the Plaza de la Constitución to pick it up.
Blue paperback mystery with lighthouse cover
I lost my blue paperback mystery yesterday around 3pm outside the little bookstore on St. George Street, just off the Colonial Quarter, here in St Augustine. It's a softcover, about 320 pages, with a bright blue cover and a white lighthouse illustration; the spine is a bit creased and there's a coffee stain along the bottom edge. A thin red ribbon bookmark sticks out from page 214, making it easy to spot. It was a gift from my grandmother, which is why it matters—sentimental value and I really need it back. If you happened to pick it up, let me know.
Blue travel guide with green ribbon bookmark
I’m missing my blue paperback travel guide to St. Augustine, the one with the green ribbon bookmark. I last had it yesterday around 3pm, while wandering the Historic District near the Lightner Museum on King Street. It’s a well-worn copy with a small coffee stain on the back cover and pages that are dog-eared from countless café breaks. It’s more than a book to me—it’s my go-to for local tips and memories from my first month here, so I’d really appreciate getting it back. If you found it, please drop me a line at [email protected]; I’ll be forever grateful.
Lost paperback copy of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' with worn cover and handwritten notes near a park bench in the historic district.
I lost my beloved copy of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' while visiting St Augustine last weekend. I had been sitting on a bench near the park in the historic district, but I'm not sure when it slipped out of my bag. It's a paperback with a worn cover, and I had written a few notes in the margins. I'd really love to get it back!
