Lost remote controls near the State Capitol, Springfield
I was in the living room of my apartment near the State Capitol in downtown Springfield yesterday around 5:45 PM when I realized my remote controls were missing from the coffee table. I searched the cushions, the shelves, and the junk drawer, but they didn’t turn up. They’re two basic remotes—one black, one gray—somewhere between the couch and the TV stand. If you found them, please reply through the site so I can get back to binging my favorite shows.
Lost adapters near State Capitol, Springfield
Last night around 7:15 PM I realized my laptop adapters were lost outside the Capitol complex on Adams Street, Springfield. I had stepped into a nearby coffee shop, set my bag on a bench, and checked directions to the Lincoln Home Visitor Center. When I returned, the bench and curb area were crowded and the adapters were gone. I have a conference tomorrow, and those compact adapters matter a lot to me.

They're black with a matte finish, and there's a small dent on the right earcup from a drop last week. I also have a red engraving 'JDS' on the headband and a gray travel pouch with a tiny sticker that says 'Fragile.' This item is really important to me—it's a gift from my sister and helps me focus during long study sessions—so I'd really appreciate getting it back if anyone found it.
