Hand-thrown stoneware vase with fox emblem and MK initials
I lost my hand-thrown stoneware vase yesterday around 3pm near the Barter Theatre parking lot off Main Street in Abingdon, VA. It’s a matte sage-green glaze with darker speckles and a copper rim, about 10 inches tall, with a tiny chip on the rim. The base is stamped with a small fox emblem and the initials MK, a mark from local artist Mira Kline. This vase was a gift from my grandmother and holds a lot of sentimental value, so I’m really hoping it turns up; if you found something matching this description in Southwest Virginia—especially around Abingdon or the Barter area—please reach out.
Blue Giro helmet with neon vents – Roanoke Market Street
I lost my blue Giro helmet yesterday around 3pm. It's a size M, blue shell with neon green vents and a white star sticker on the left strap. There’s a small dent on the brim from a minor crash last week. I was biking along Market Street in Roanoke, near the City Market behind the Market building and the Wells Fargo on Church Avenue, when I realized it was gone. The helmet has sentimental value—it was a gift from my dad to celebrate finishing my first open-water triathlon, and I really need it back for safety on weekend rides. If anyone found it, please message me—I’d be incredibly grateful.
Lost: Blue binder of 1987 Topps baseball cards
I lost my blue three-ring binder filled with 1987 Topps baseball cards yesterday around 3pm. I was at Barter Theatre lobby on Main Street in Abingdon, sorting through the collection when it slipped from my tote and vanished. The binder has a Virginia outline sticker on the inside cover and a small dent in the bottom-right corner; there’s a light coffee stain on the front. This lot was a gift from my dad and holds some rare cards I’ve been guarding for years, so it’s really meaningful to me. If anyone finds it, please get in touch—I’d be forever grateful and happy to drive out to collect it.
Lost rare 1950s coin collection in felt-lined display case left on a park bench at Riverside Park.
I accidentally left my collection of rare 1950s coins on a park bench at Riverside Park in Southwest VA. I got distracted while on a walk and realized minutes later that I left my favorite coins behind. I'm heartbroken as this collection has been in my family for generations. The coins are in a felt-lined display case and include some unique pieces, including the 1955 double die penny. If anyone has found it or seen anything similar, please reach out!
