Oak coffee table with maple leaf accent
I found this oak coffee table this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Hy-Vee on Main Street in Mount Pleasant, Southeast Iowa. It's a solid mid-century style piece, about 48 inches long and 22 inches wide, with a warm oak finish and a maple leaf motif carved into the lower shelf. There are a few light scratches on the surface and a tiny veneer dent along the right edge, but it's otherwise sturdy. One leg has a faint vertical crack in the veneer where the wood settled over time. I know how easy it is to misplace a piece like this, and I'd love to help reunite it with its owner.
Blue Le Creuset 4-qt Dutch oven
I lost my blue Le Creuset 4-quart oval Dutch oven yesterday around 3pm. It was in the Hy-Vee parking lot area on Agency Street in downtown Burlington, Southeast IA, after I was unloading groceries. The pot is a blue enamel cast-iron with a glass lid; overall in good shape, but there’s a small chip on the outer rim and a faint white speck near the handle. Inside the lid I left a faded handwritten recipe from my grandma for apple cobbler, which is a pretty unique detail I’m hoping will help identify it. This pot has sentimental value to me and I’d really appreciate getting it back—it's been with my family for years.
Weathered gray coffee table with live-edge
I lost my weathered gray coffee table—it's about 36 inches square with a reclaimed ash top and a live-edge front, supported by black hairpin legs. I was at the Hy-Vee on Agency Street in Burlington yesterday around 3pm and must have left it there after rearranging the living room. The top has a small nick on the front edge and a faint sun-bleach line along the left side, with the legs showing a bit of wear from moving it through doorways. This piece means a lot to me because it was a gift from my grandfather, so I’d really like to get it back. If anyone found it here in Southeast Iowa—Burlington area—please message me here; I can describe it in detail or arrange a pickup.
Blue ceramic casserole dish with lid, 4-quart
I lost my blue ceramic casserole dish with a white lid yesterday around 3pm in the communal kitchen at the Mount Pleasant Public Library on Main Street. It's a sturdy 4-quart dish with a slightly chipped rim and a brass knob on the lid, and inside there's a faded marker note that reads 'Mom's recipe' in my handwriting. This dish was a gift from my grandmother and holds a lot of sentimental value to me, especially for family dinners. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Walnut coffee table with glass inset, found today
Found a walnut coffee table this afternoon around 3:15 pm in the Mount Pleasant Public Library lobby on Main Street, Mount Pleasant, IA. It's a mid-century style piece, about 42 inches long and 20 inches wide, with a tempered glass inset and a small drawer. The table is solid and in decent condition, but there's a light scratch on the right front leg and a pencil initial 'R.J.' etched on the underside of the drawer pull. I'm not sure who it belongs to, but I'd really like to help get it back to its owner in Southeast Iowa. If this sounds like your table, please message me with details about where you kept it at home or when you last had it.
Lost set of blue and white ceramic dinner plates in Southeast Iowa during moving.
I lost a beautiful set of blue and white ceramic dinner plates while moving in Southeast IA last weekend. They were packed in a box labeled 'kitchenware,' but somehow they went missing during the unloading process. If you see them, I would greatly appreciate it if you could reach out.
