Last Thursday around 6:30 PM, I found a folder of sheet music on a bench outside the Atlantic City Free Public Library in South Jersey. The pages looked well-used, with pencil markings and a few damp spots from a drizzle, and the cover bore a student’s name I could not clearly read. I tucked it under my arm and brought it inside to the help desk, hoping the owner would come looking. It seems like something a local musician or student could be missing, and I’d like to help reunite it with them.
At 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, I realized my sheet music was missing from my tote after rehearsal at the South Jersey Community Music Center. I left the binder on a bench by the Atlantic City Boardwalk and walked away, only to return and find it gone. The music is a collection from college days and holds memories of my first gigs; losing it feels like losing a piece of my past. I’m hoping someone found it and tucked somewhere safe near the Boardwalk so I can retrieve it and keep playing.
Last Saturday around 3:45 p.m., I realized the drapes were gone from the living room window of my apartment on Haddonfield Road, not far from the Cherry Hill Mall. Those heavy burgundy drapes with brass rings were a keepsake from my grandmother, so they mean a lot to me. I’ve retraced through the living room, hallway, and stairwell, and I can't shake the feeling they slipped out during the move. If you saw them around in this South Jersey neighborhood, please let me know on the site.
I found two work cases outside the Steel Pier along the Atlantic City Boardwalk around 3:45 PM on Friday. They’re sturdy black leather cases, one with a scuff on the corner and the other with a loose zipper. Inside are a few folders, a pen, and a laminated ID badge from a local contractor. Seeing them there made me rethink about how easily things disappear in a crowded place. I brought them here to be found by the rightful owner, and hope they’re reunited soon.
On Friday night, around 9:15 PM, I packed up after a rehearsal on Haddon Avenue and realized the drum case with a bright red sticker had vanished from the side entrance near the PATCO station. The shells are scuffed, the snare marked with a lightning bolt and my initials. I'm hoping someone picked them up and remembered to return them to the venue. It feels like losing a piece of my heartbeat, and I'm counting on a miracle before next week's practice.
Small black digital Kodak camera 8/8/26 at Watermark in Ashbury Park. Please there are many precious memories on it.
