Golden-brown guinea pig with red harness found near Safeway
I found a guinea pig this afternoon around 2:15pm in the parking lot behind the Safeway on Fry Boulevard, Sierra Vista. It's about 9 inches long, mostly golden brown with white patches, and it's wearing a small red harness with a tiny bell. The guinea pig has a distinctive white patch on its left flank and a tiny nick behind its right ear. It seems curious but a little skittish, and I know someone must be worried about their pet. Green parakeet with red leg band found
I found a bright green parakeet with a red leg band this afternoon around 4pm near the Starbucks at Fry Blvd and 7th Street in Sierra Vista. The bird is small, maybe the size of a palm, with a cheerful chatter and a few blue-tinted flight feathers under its wings. The red leg band is clearly visible and it’s stamped with the numbers 861, which should help a lot with identifying its owner. It seems healthy and curious, pecking at my finger when I offered a seed treat. If this is your bird, please message me with a photo or the leg-band details so I can get it back to you.
Blue reflective dog harness with paw charm
I lost my blue reflective dog harness yesterday around 3pm outside the Sierra Vista Public Library on 7th Street, near the CVS. It's a nylon harness, size medium, royal blue with lime-green stitching and a tiny red paw charm on the front strap. The D-ring is a bit scuffed from our hikes, and there's a small white paw-print tag that says 'Max' on the inside. It was a gift from my sister and really helps my rescue pup feel secure during walks. If anyone finds it, please drop it at the library desk or reply here — I’d be so grateful to get it back.

Yesterday around 3:30pm I slipped while cleaning Pixel's enclosure and he bolted out through the screen door into the courtyard behind my apartment on 6th Street in Sierra Vista. Pixel is about 9 inches long, orange-tan with a distinctive blue dot under his chin, and his tail tip is a bit frayed from a past snag. I last saw him near the entrance to the Sierra Vista Public Library on 3rd Street, where there is a small fountain and some potted cacti. He is a gentle, curious guy and really depends on heat lamps to stay warm, so I am worried about him in the cooler evenings. I lost my gray tabby cat yesterday around 3pm after I opened the door to our apartment near Fort Huachuca Main Gate in Sierra Vista. He's a short-haired adult cat, about 10 pounds, with a white chest and a blue collar that has a tiny silver bell. There’s a small notch in his right ear and a faint scar on his lip from a playful tumble. He’s friendly but skittish, so he might be hiding under porches or in bushes around Buffalo Soldier Trail or near the Sierra Vista Public Library. I found a sweet brown Labrador puppy wandering around the Sierra Vista park this afternoon. He looks to be about 5 months old and is very friendly. No collar or tags, so I'm hoping someone is missing this little guy. He seemed a bit lost but is eating well and getting along with my other pets.
