I found a wind instrument this morning around 9:15 am, lying on the sidewalk outside the Kohler Arts Center on New York Ave in Sheboygan. It's a silver trumpet in a blue soft-shell gig bag, with a red star sticker on the case and a small dent near the bell. I think it's a Yamaha student model—the valves feel a bit stiff, but the mouthpiece is there and the instrument looks well-used yet playable. I know how important this instrument is to a student who practices daily, and I’d love to get it back to its owner.

This drum means a lot to me because I practice after work to unwind, and it was a gift from my aunt who passed away last year. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back; it’s part of my everyday routine and I’ve been worried since it vanished.

I lost my favorite pair of bongo drums while visiting the Sheboygan waterfront park last weekend. I set them down for a moment to grab a drink from the nearby food truck and completely forgot to pick them up again.
