I found this sunflower ceramic vase this afternoon around 4:15 pm behind the Santa Maria Public Library, near the parking lot off S Broadway. It’s about 7 inches tall with a cream glaze and hand-painted sunflowers in bright yellow. The glaze is glossy with a subtle crackle finish, and there’s a small chip on the rim that I could feel when I picked it up. On the bottom there’s a pencil inscription that reads 'S. Rivera 2019,' so it might be a personal piece. It seems well-made and has a nice charm, and I’d love to help reunite it with its owner—if you can describe the inscription or the chip, I’ll arrange the return.
Red Wilson tennis racket with neon grip
I was at the Rotary Park tennis courts off Broadway in Santa Maria yesterday around 3pm when I must have dropped my racket. It’s a red Wilson tennis racket, mid-age, with a neon-green grip tape that really catches the eye. There’s a small chip near the throat and a white scuff on the bumper guard. On the butt there’s a black Sharpie sticker with the initials 'J.K.' in neat handwriting. It means a lot to me and I’ve got a tournament this weekend, so I’d really appreciate getting it back. I found a blue dragon plush toy this afternoon around 3:15 pm behind the Santa Maria Public Library on South Broadway. It's about 14 inches tall, made of soft plush fabric, with bright orange felt wings and a tiny squeaker that sighs when pressed. The dragon has a small white stitch on the left wing and a tag that reads 'Aurora'—so it looks well-loved but clean. I lost my framed turquoise abstract painting yesterday around 3pm outside the Santa Maria Town Center on Broadway near the coffee shop. It's a 12x16 inch canvas in a light maple frame with a white mat, featuring bold turquoise and coral shapes. There's a small signature 'L. Vega' in the bottom-right corner and a tiny scrape along the bottom edge of the frame. This piece is sentimental to me—it's a gift from my sister—and I'd really appreciate getting it back.
