I found this olive green North Face Borealis backpack this afternoon around 3:45pm, tucked behind a bench near the Santa Fe Plaza by the Palace of the Governors on Lincoln Avenue. It's a standard-size pack with a dark gray bottom and bright orange zipper pulls on the main compartment and front pocket. A small embroidered sun-and-mountain patch decorates the front, and the left shoulder strap has a tiny fray near the seam. Inside I found a blue spiral notebook with a University of New Mexico sticker and a charger cable coiled in the side pocket. Found a blue North Face backpack this afternoon around 2:15pm, lying on the sidewalk outside the Santa Fe Plaza along Lincoln Ave near the Plaza Café. It's a standard school-size backpack, deep blue with bright orange zipper pulls and a small pine-tree patch on the front. The fabric shows a few scuffs from the street, but the zippers still work, and there's a padded laptop sleeve inside plus a mesh water-bottle pocket on the side. Inside the main pocket I saw a faded sticker of a mountain range and a reusable notebook. I lost my North Face Borealis backpack yesterday around 3pm. It's dark charcoal gray with lime green zippers, about a 28L size, and a small red paracord loop on the zipper pull. There’s a tiny fox patch on the front pocket and a blue notebook with my name inside. I was by the Santa Fe Plaza, near the Cathedral Basilica on Lincoln Ave, outside the Visitor Center when I realized it was missing; this backpack carries my art sketches and it’s sentimental—my mom gave me the patch on the front.

I found a small black hiking backpack while walking my dog along the river trail in Taos yesterday afternoon. The backpack has a water bottle holder on the side and appears to contain some snacks and a first-aid kit. It looks new and might belong to someone who was out enjoying the trails.
