Black leather coin album with red stitching
I lost my black leather coin album from the 1990s yesterday around 3pm near the Central Library on Anacapa Street in Santa Barbara. It's a 9x11 inch album with red stitching along the spine and a small crease on the bottom-right corner. The cover is smooth faux leather with a faint embossed crest in the center, and inside there are about 40 coins plus a small card with my initials "A.Y." in the corner. It has sentimental value—my grandfather taught me coin collecting, and that binder was one of the few keepsakes I have from him. If found, email me at [email protected]; I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.
Blue porcelain vase with gold flecks
I found this decorative porcelain vase this afternoon around 2:15pm, sitting on the stone ledge outside the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, near the main entrance on State Street. It's about 8 inches tall with a cobalt blue glaze and subtle gold flecks, clearly hand-painted. There’s a tiny chip on the rim and a faint signature 'AK 23' etched on the bottom. I figured someone might be missing a piece like this from a studio or sentimental display, so I’m putting it up here in case the owner recognizes it and wants it back. It feels special and I’d be glad to help reunite it with its owner.
Lost blue unicorn plush with pink bow
I lost my blue unicorn plush yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on State Street by Paseo Nuevo. It's about 14 inches tall, super soft, with a shiny pink satin bow on its left ear and a tiny embroidered heart on its belly. The fur is a little faded and it has a couple of loose stitches along the seam, but otherwise it's in decent shape. It was a gift from my grandmother and has a lot of sentimental value for my kid, so I'm really hoping it turns up.
Blue ceramic wall vase with koi motif
I found this blue ceramic wall vase with a koi motif this afternoon around 2:45 pm in the alley behind the Granada Theatre on State Street, Santa Barbara. It's about 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide, with a glossy cobalt glaze and a tiny glaze nick along the rim. The bottom bears a small hand-painted signature, 'K. Rivera', and there’s a faint fingerprint smudge from handling. It looks like it might be a handmade piece from a local artist and seems relatively new, no cracks. If this belongs to someone, I’m hoping to help you get it back.
