Lost desk organizers near San Marcos Plaza, San Marcos
I’m Carlos Mendoza. Friday around 5:30 p.m., I left a small set of desk organizers on a cafe table by the San Marcos Plaza near the Hays County Courthouse. They’re blue plastic with a sliding drawer and a couple of labels on top—two-tier organizers I use for study notes and schedules. Finals are looming, and losing them throws off my whole routine. I walked toward the San Marcos River and back along Guadalupe Street, checked the coffee shop, and asked staff, but they weren’t there. I’m hopeful someone picked them up and will drop them off at the plaza’s lost-and-found so they can get back to me.

Nintendo Switch OLED with neon Joy-Cons and case
I found a Nintendo Switch OLED this morning around 9:15am outside the H-E-B on Wonder World Drive in San Marcos. It's in a black protective shell with neon red and blue Joy-Cons, plus a gray carrying case that has a Mario sticker on the front. The screen looks clean with just a tiny scratch along the top edge, and the left Joy-Con has a small scuff near the shoulder button. I also found a blue USB-C charging cable tucked inside the case. If this belongs to someone, send me a message here and we can arrange pickup near the entrance by the bike racks.
Black Korg minilogue xd 37-key synth
I was wrapping up a small gig yesterday around 3pm and realized my black Korg minilogue xd 37-key synth was missing from the backstage area behind a cafe on Hopkins Street, near the San Marcos Public Library. It’s a compact analog/digital synth with white keys and a few scuffs along the edge; I keep a small red sticker with my initials 'PN' on the top panel, and there’s a tiny dent on the bottom-right corner. It means a lot to me because it was a gift from my sister and I rely on it for gigs. If you found it, please drop me a message—I'm really hoping to get it back.
Gold ruby ring, lost near CSUSM Library
I lost my 14k yellow gold ring yesterday around 3pm near the CSUSM Library on College Blvd. It's a slim size-6 ring with a small 2mm ruby set in a delicate prong, and the band has a tiny heart engraving on the inside. There are a few light scratches along the bottom from daily wear, but the ring is otherwise in good condition. This ring means a lot to me because it was a gift from my grandmother, and I’d really appreciate getting it back if you found it. If you did, please email [email protected].
Neon green Nike running shorts, size M
I was out for a run yesterday around 4:45pm and realized my neon green Nike running shorts were missing. They're a size M, made of lightweight mesh, with a small zip pocket in the back and a blue drawstring that’s easy to spot. There’s a tiny tear along the left hem from a tumble, and the Nike swoosh sits on the left thigh. I last saw them near the Rec Center entrance on Aquarena Springs Drive in San Marcos, just behind the Texas State University campus. They’ve seen a lot of miles with me, and they felt like a bit of good luck—really hoping someone picked them up and can get them back before my next race.
Blue reflective dog harness with paw-print charm
I lost my blue reflective dog harness yesterday around 5:30pm near the H-E-B on Wonder World Dr in San Marcos. It's a Rabbitgoo brand, size small, with a sturdy D-ring and a quick-release buckle. The harness has a tiny paw-print charm hanging from the strap and a thin orange reflective stripe along the edge. My dog is a rescue and this is the harness that fits him best; I really need it back because it's the only one that works. If anyone found it, please let me know—it's got sentimental value for me and my pup.

Silver pocket metronome in black case
I lost my silver pocket metronome with a black case yesterday around 3pm near the San Marcos Public Library on LBJ Drive. It’s a compact Seiko metronome, about the size of my palm, with a tiny red LED indicator and my initials AR engraved on the back. There’s a small dent on the bottom edge and the wind-up mechanism is a bit stiff, which might catch your eye if you’re rummaging through bags. Blue plush teddy bear with yellow shirt
I lost my kid's blue plush teddy bear yesterday around 3:15pm near the San Marcos Public Library, East Hopkins Street, outside the children's section. It's about 12 inches tall, soft light-blue fur, and wears a bright yellow cotton shirt with a tiny red heart on the chest. There’s a small stitch repair on the bottom seam and a blue fabric tag inside the ear that says 'Milo' embroidered in white. It’s a well-loved gift from his grandmother, and he’s really attached to it; we’d be crushed if it doesn’t turn up. If anyone found it, please let me know through the Lost-and-Found app.
Vintage Star Wars action figures set in San Marcos
Found a vintage Star Wars action figure set this afternoon around 2:40pm in the courtyard behind the San Marcos Public Library on East Hopkins Street. It’s a loose collectors item, seven figures from the late 70s Kenner line, no packaging. They’re in decent shape with some wear; one Boba Fett helmet is dented and there’s a small display stand with a faded Star Wars logo. I’m posting because I hope to get them back to the rightful owner—collectors know these have real value, and I’d hate for them to disappear.

Crimson Nike running shoes, size 9, lost near Starbucks
I’m missing my crimson Nike running shoes, size 9, after a jog yesterday around 3pm. I was at the Starbucks on University Drive by the Texas State Library when I last wore them. One shoe has a small blue tip on the laces and the other shows a tiny scuff on the heel—pretty easy to spot if you’re looking closely. They’re a bit worn but comfy, and they mean a lot to me because they were a gift from my mom. If anyone found them, I’d really appreciate getting them back; they’re my everyday pair for runs around San Marcos.
Blue passport in black leather holder
I lost my blue passport yesterday around 3pm in San Marcos. It was tucked inside a black leather passport holder with a small gold crest on the cover. I last had it while I was sitting on a bench outside the San Marcos Public Library on Hopkins Street, then wandered toward Courthouse Square on San Antonio Street. The holder has a coffee stain on the back and a tiny green turtle sticker on the inner flap—easy to spot once you’ve seen it. This passport is essential for my upcoming trip, and I’m really hoping someone picked it up and kept it safe. If you found it, please reach out so I can verify the details and arrange a pickup.
