Found young woman near Rockford Public Library

I found a young woman outside the Rockford Public Library on West State Street around 9:15 pm this evening. She's about 5'4", wearing a faded blue denim jacket over a red hoodie, black leggings, and gray sneakers, with a small crescent moon tattoo on her left wrist. She seemed distressed and couldn't clearly recall a name or a contact number, so I stayed with her and called the library staff and the police for assistance. They arrived quickly and took her into their care; I'm posting this to help reunite her with a family member or guardian.
