I lost my red knit scarf yesterday around 3pm near the Rochester Public Library on South Avenue. It's about 60 inches long, soft wool, and a little fuzzy from wear. There's a small white snowflake embroidery near the end and a tiny black tag that says 'Artisan Threads.' It was a gift from my mom last winter, so it means a lot to me and I really need it back. I found a red North Face winter parka this morning around 10:15am behind the Rochester Public Market on North Union Street. It's a men's size L with a black inner lining and a fluffy fur-trimmed hood, still in pretty good shape for a coat that’s clearly seen a Rochester winter. A small white mountain badge sits on the left sleeve, and there’s a tiny snag near the cuff that a careful eye will spot. It feels like a practical, well-loved jacket that someone in my neighborhood would be missing right now.
