Found sheet music near Roanoke City Market

Found sheet music near Roanoke City Market this morning around 9:15 a.m. I was walking along Campbell Avenue when I spotted a tote sitting on a bench by the market steps. Inside was a folder with several pages of sheet music, well-used but intact, with a few instrument names penciled in the margins. It looks meaningful to someone who plays regularly, and I’d like to get it back to its owner. I’ve kept it safe since I picked it up, hoping the rightful musician sees this post and claims it.

lost swimsuits near Roanoke City Market

Hi there, I’m Emily Lawson. I was in Roanoke last Saturday around 4:15 PM near the Roanoke City Market area when I realized my swimsuits were missing. I had laid them on a bench after a quick water break and turned back to grab sunscreen from the car, but they vanished. They’re a navy one-piece with a tiny white logo and a pink-striped bikini set, both a bit stretched from sun and sand. I’m anxious and a little embarrassed, hoping someone nearby might have seen them and kept them safe. If you found them, please help me reunite them with their owner.

lost pants after gym bag mix-up near Roanoke Market Building

At 7:15 p.m. yesterday I discovered my favorite dark denim pants were missing from the gym bag I left on the floor of my apartment on 3rd Street, near Roanoke City Market. They’re a size 32 with a small coffee stain on the right thigh and a frayed belt loop. I retraced my steps through the building’s lobby by the Market Building and out toward Elm Avenue, but the pants didn’t reappear. Losing them feels like misplacing a piece of my routine—the mornings I wear them to the coffee shop before work. If you’ve seen a pair matching that description anywhere in the Market area, please think of them as mine.

Found suits near Market Square, Roanoke

I was tidying up near Market Square in Roanoke around 11:30 a.m. today when I found a garment bag containing several suits. They looked well cared-for, the fabric crisp and the label legible, with a few cufflinks still tucked inside. The bag was left on a bench just outside the Market Square entrance, so I brought it to a safe spot and left a note describing where I found them and the approximate time. It felt rewarding to do the right thing and maybe reunite someone with outfits they planned for important events.

Lost pocket watches in Roanoke

I was browsing the Market Street shops around 2:45 pm on Tuesday when I realized my pocket watches were missing from my coat pocket. They’re old, with a brass case and a crack along the lid—one runs a little fast, the other slightly slow, but they’re priceless to me. I last wore them at Center in the Square earlier that afternoon and set them down beside my tote while I looked at a street vendor's crafts. I’ve been replaying every step since, hoping they were just tucked into a jacket somewhere, not left behind in the bustle of Downtown Roanoke.

lost photographs from a weekend trip

I was at the Roanoke City Market around 2:15 p.m. Saturday, juggling a stack of photos, when a gust grabbed the edge of my tote and they slipped away. The market's brick arches were warm in the sun, and the view down Market Street felt like a postcard. These pictures mean the world to me because they capture my grandmother's road trips along the Blue Ridge and a laughing portrait of my dad as a kid. I’ve retraced steps from the Market Plaza to Campbell Avenue, but I haven’t found them yet. If you came across a bundle of faded prints on your way to the roped-off statue of the Mill Mountain Star, I’d be grateful to have them back.

Found violins near Roanoke City Market

I'm Sarah Lee. I was walking along the Roanoke River Greenway toward the Roanoke City Market yesterday around 3:40 p.m. when I spotted a soft black violin case and a lighter wooden case behind a bench near the market's entrance on Market Street. Inside were two violins and two bows, a bit dusty but in good condition. It felt like a musician had left them in a hurry, and I wanted to do the right thing, so I brought them here and kept them safe until this post. I know how important those instruments can be to someone who plays at the Friday night jams here in Roanoke, and I hope they’re reunited with their owner soon.

FOUND: Hat found in Roanoke, VA

I'm Emily Carter. At 7:45 PM on Monday, I found a gray felt hat on a bench near the Roanoke Star on Mill Mountain. A thin red ribbon around the base and a bit of trail dust gave it character, but otherwise it's intact. I tucked it into my tote and kept it safe, thinking someone was probably missing it after a sunset stroll. It feels familiar, like a traveler’s hat from a weekend hike along Market Street. If this hat is yours, please reach out through the site and we can arrange a pickup near Market Square.

Found travel adapters near Roanoke City Market.

I was strolling around the Roanoke City Market Building around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday when I spotted a small blue pouch tucked under a bench near the fountain. Inside were several travel adapters, a tangle of cords, and a tiny tag with a name I could barely make out. I picked them up and figured someone must have set them down while grabbing a coffee at Market Street. I know how nerve-wracking travel can be without a charger, so I’m holding onto them here and hoping they reach their owner soon.

LOST Avians near Roanoke City Market

I am posting this as LOST: Avians. I was at Roanoke City Market around 3:30 p.m. today when two bright green parrots slipped from their carrier and flew toward the hills behind the Market. The first is a green parrot with a yellow beak, and the second a small blue and gray finch with a black ring around its eye. I have walked along Market Street and toward Mill Mountain Spur, asking vendors and walkers to keep an eye out, but they have not turned up yet.

Lost travel visas near Market Square, Roanoke

This morning at 8:30 a.m. I was hurrying to catch the 8:45 bus on Market Street when my travel visas slipped out of a blue folder in my backpack. The folder held the visas and a few related documents, all crumpled from the morning rush. I last saw the folder on a bench outside the Market Square entrance by the Roanoke City Market Building around 8:30 a.m., and I must have dropped it as I checked my phone. I’m anxious about the trip I’m taking next week and really hope someone honest found them and kept them safe.

Lost remote controls in Roanoke.

Last night at 7:15 PM, I realized my remote controls were missing from the living room of my Roanoke apartment near the Grandin Theatre. I’d just finished a movie and tucked the cushions back, so I must have left them on the coffee table and wandered off. They’re black with a small scratch on the silver trim, and I use them every evening for both the TV and streaming box. Losing them feels silly and a bit stressful because movie night isn’t the same without them. If you found a pair of black remotes near Grandin, please help me bring them back.

Lost microwave near Market Square, Roanoke

Hi, I’m Mia Carter. I lost my microwave from the kitchen of my Roanoke apartment. At 9:10 PM on Monday I finished cooking and stepped out to grab a bottle of water by Mill Mountain Park. When I came back inside, the microwave was gone from the counter and the power cord was still warm. It’s a stainless steel unit with a dent on the door and a small sticker on the top left. I rely on it for quick meals after long shifts, and it just isn’t the same without it. If you see something that matches, please keep an eye out around Market Square in downtown Roanoke—I’d be incredibly grateful to have it back.

Lost holiday decorations near Grandin Theatre, Roanoke.

On Saturday around 11:40 am I was loading holiday decorations into the car near Grandin Theatre when a gust knocked a box off the back seat. A string of multicolored lights and a handmade wreath ended up snagged on a light pole along Market Street. I searched the curb and nearby sidewalk, and a passerby helped me pull the remaining pieces from the road, but some ornaments disappeared. These decorations mean a lot to my family, so I hope whoever found them kept them safe until we can be reunited downtown.

Found gray tabby with blue collar

I found a medium-sized gray tabby this morning around 9:15am near the Grandin Theatre on Grandin Road in Roanoke. It has white paws and chest, a slightly crooked tail, and a tiny white scar on its left ear. It’s wearing a bright blue nylon collar with a small silver bell and a white enamel tag that reads 'MILO.' I kept it safe for a bit and gave it some water; the cat seemed friendly and purrs when I pet it. If this is your cat, or you know who it belongs to, email me with details about Milo so we can reunite them.
