LOST synthesizers in Richmond, Indiana
On Friday at 6:40 PM, after a quick practice at the Richmond Music Center near the Depot District, I realized my synthesizers were missing from the back seat of my SUV. The two units live in a black flight case with a bright blue PolyNova sticker on the side. I’d parked on South Street in front of the Morrisson-Reeves Library around 6:20 PM after loading gear from the studio. I’ve played these synths for years, and losing them feels like misplacing a part of my creative self. LOST: Sheet Music in Richmond, Indiana
I lost my sheet music from last night’s rehearsal. Those pages are my plan for the audition and carry a lot of weight for me. I had placed the pile on a chair in the Wayne County Public Library's main reading room around 5:15 p.m., then stepped out for a moment to stretch and grab a coffee. When I returned, the stack was gone and my heart sank. If someone picked them up by mistake, I’d be grateful to have them back in the desk at the library; they’re irreplaceable to my rehearsals.
Silver Yamaha flute with black case
I lost my silver Yamaha flute yesterday around 3pm outside the Byrd Theatre on Cary Street in Carytown, Richmond. It's a standard student model with a black hard case; the flute has a tiny dent near the foot joint and my initials PP engraved on the first joint. The case has a scuff on the bottom and a small red cat sticker on the lid. It's really sentimental to me—it helps me practice for orchestra and was a gift from my music teacher. If anyone found it, I'd be so grateful to get it back.
