I found a small black tote bag this afternoon around 3:15pm near the Sundial Bridge along the riverfront trail in Downtown Redding. The bag is about the size of a tablet, made of slick nylon with a bright pink satin lining that peeks out when you unzip the top. There's a tiny silver compass charm on the zipper pull and an embroidered fox on the outside pocket. I tucked it into my backpack for safekeeping and figured someone might be frantically looking for it; it looks well-loved but not torn up.
