Lost sculptures in Reading, PA
I was packing up after the street market along Penn Street in Reading, Pennsylvania, United States, around 2:30 p.m., when I realized my sculptures were missing from the back of my van near the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts on 201 Washington Street. They’re a small set of bronze-toned figurative sculptures, about six inches tall, with delicate etched lines and a few dabs of copper patina. I went back to the loading area and asked a few vendors, but the space had already cleared out. These sculptures are part of my show portfolio and mean a lot to me.
Found Equipment for Various Sports near GoggleWorks
Yesterday at 3:45 p.m., I was walking near the GoggleWorks Center for the Visual Arts in Reading when I found a tote bag stuffed with sports gear. Inside were two basketballs, a lacrosse stick, a tennis racket, shin guards, and a whistle. The bag had no name on it, and the area around the plaza was busy but people were rushing by. I felt a mix of curiosity and relief—the kind of relief you get when you know someone’s hard-earned stuff isn’t going to vanish. I kept it safe here so the rightful owner can claim it through the site.
Lost coins from grandfather's pouch near library
Hi, I am Grace Parker. I was at the Reading Public Library plaza around 8:30 PM on Friday when I realized my coins were missing from a small brown leather pouch. Those coins were my grandfather's keepsakes, and each one has a story I can't bear to forget. I retraced my steps along Penn Street, past the fountain and the bus stop, but I didn't turn them up. If anyone found them and put them in a safe place, I would be forever grateful to have them back.
