I found a blue nylon dog harness with reflective trim this afternoon around 2:45pm outside the Harris Teeter at Cameron Village in Raleigh. It's a medium size with an adjustable strap and a sturdy black plastic buckle. There's a small teal paw-print charm dangling from the leash ring, and a thin lime-green stitch along the edges. The harness looks in decent shape, a little dusty from the sidewalk but clean and intact. I spotted it near the cart corral by the store entrance and grabbed it hoping to help its owner. I lost my greyhound mix, Scout, yesterday around 7:15pm near the Crabtree Valley Mall parking lot on Glenwood Ave in Raleigh. He's about 60 pounds, mostly grey with a small white heart-shaped patch on his chest, and he wears a blue reflective harness. There are two tags on him: a silver bone-shaped tag that reads 'Scout 1123' and a round paw-print tag. He has a slight limp in his right hind leg and tends to bolt when startled; this dog means the world to me and I really need him back.

I lost my grey tabby cat yesterday around 3pm. He’s about 9 pounds, mostly grey with a white chest and paws, and he has a tiny crescent scar on his right hind leg. I found a small tan and white dog wandering around downtown Raleigh this morning. It looks like a mixed breed, maybe a dachshund and Chihuahua. It's very friendly and seems well-fed, but I can't find an owner nearby. I brought it home to keep it safe until we can find its owner. If this is your dog, please reach out!
