Black leather briefcase with laptop sleeve

Found this afternoon around 3pm in the parking lot behind a cafe on 18th Street in downtown Rock Island, near the Centennial Bridge. It's a black leather briefcase about 15 inches wide with a built-in padded laptop sleeve; the brass zipper is a little sticky and the leather shows a few scuffs. Inside the front pocket I found a navy microfiber cloth and a small brass key fob engraved with 'AP.' There's also a business card with initials 'A. Patel' and a partially legible phone number.
