I realized my driver's license was missing around 2:45 p.m. on a gray Tuesday while studying at a coffee shop on Main Street in Moscow, just a short walk from the Pullman-Moscow border. I’d been sorting notes after a class at the campus library nearby when I noticed it was gone. The license is in a standard blue wallet with my name printed on it; it's essential for travel and ID in a pinch.
