Found vintage coin album in Potsdam-Canton-Massena
I found a small leather-bound coin album this afternoon around 3:15pm near Market Street by the Potsdam Public Library. Inside there are about a dozen vintage coins, a few foreign pieces, and a folded receipt from a garage sale in the '90s. The cover is dark green with a brass clasp that sticks a bit, and there's a tiny sticker with the initials 'M.P.' on the inside cover. I can tell this is something a serious collector would want, so I’m hoping to reunite it with its rightful owner. I lost my red leather binder with rare 1950s stamps yesterday around 3pm near Market Street by the Potsdam Farmers Market and the town library steps. It's a small, well-used binder about the size of a lunchbox, with a green ribbon bookmark sticking out and clear sleeves protecting the stamps. Inside, the standout item is a 1951 Canada stamp in the top row, plus a few misprints and a tiny orange sticker labeled A-23 on the inside cover. The binder itself shows wear along the spine, and one corner is slightly frayed. This collection means a lot to me—it was a gift from my grandfather and holds sentimental value. If anyone found it, I’d really appreciate getting it back; I can offer a small reward and my gratitude.
