Penguin Classics Pride and Prejudice paperback
I lost my Penguin Classics paperback of Pride and Prejudice yesterday around 3pm near the Port Huron Public Library on McMorran Place. The cover is bright red with gold lettering and the spine is a bit creased from being shoved in my bag during the bus ride; there’s a coffee ring on the back and a dog-eared corner from endless reading. Inside the front cover I wrote my initials 'P.P.' in pencil, and there’s a yellow sticky note on page 42 that says 'return to P. Patel' in neat handwriting. It’s sentimental to me because it was a gift from my grandmother, and I’d be relieved to get it back if anyone found it.
Blue paperback mystery novel with torn spine
I lost my blue paperback mystery novel yesterday around 3pm near the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse parking lot along the St. Clair River in Port Huron. It's a mass-market paperback, about 320 pages, with a visibly worn spine and a blue ribbon bookmark peeking out. On the back cover there's a small library sticker with a faded barcode, and inside I tucked a pressed concert ticket from last summer—the paper is curling at the edges. This book also has sentimental value; it was a gift from my aunt who loved mysteries, and I really need it back.
Lost copy of 'The Great Gatsby' with blue cover near the waterfront bench in Port Huron.
I lost my copy of 'The Great Gatsby' while sitting on the bench near the waterfront in Port Huron on Saturday afternoon. It has a blue cover with my name written inside the front page. I was hoping to finish it by the end of the week, so I'm really anxious to find it again.
