Framed oil painting of snowy pines
I lost my framed oil painting yesterday around 3pm near The Crossings Premium Outlets in Tannersville, outside the main parking lot by the kiosks. It’s a 16x20 inch piece of a snowy pine forest, painted in cool blues and greens, in a black wood frame with a slim gold inner lip. The back has a sticker from Evergreen Gallery and there’s a tiny dent on the bottom edge of the frame; the lower right corner bears the artist’s initials, ‘L. Carter.’ This piece was a gift from my grandmother and carries a lot of sentimental value, so I’m really hoping someone might have seen it or picked it up by mistake. If you found it, please let me know—I’d be incredibly grateful to get it back.
Blue dragon plush with red scarf
I lost my blue dragon plush yesterday around 3pm while we were leaving the Camelback Resort parking lot along Camelback Road in the Poconos. It's about 12 inches tall, soft plush with a bright blue body, yellow belly, and tiny green wings. It wears a red knitted scarf and has a small white star stitched on its left ear. There's a faint coffee stain on the belly from breakfast, and a tiny pull on the seam near the tail from a curious kid. It means a lot to my daughter; it's her bedtime buddy and has sentimental value. If you find it, please reach out — we'd be so grateful to have it back.
Vintage 1980s Star Trek action figures collection
I lost my vintage 1980s Star Trek action figures collection yesterday around 3pm. I had them in a light-blue tote with a red Star Trek sticker, left on a bench outside the Starbucks on Main Street in Stroudsburg, PA, while I grabbed a coffee. The set includes Captain Kirk, Spock, and a Klingon, each about 5 inches tall, with some paint wear and one figure's ear chipped. The tote has a small black marker name tag inside reading 'Amina Kapoor' and a faded label that says 'Property of Amina.' This collection was a gift from my grandfather and means a lot to me; I'd be incredibly grateful to have it back.
Elgin pocket watch, brass with engraving
I lost my Elgin vintage pocket watch yesterday around 3pm in Stroudsburg, PA, on Main Street near the Sherman Theater. It's brass, about 1.8 inches in diameter, with a glass face and an enamel dial; the back is engraved with the initials JR and there's a tiny edge chip near 7 o'clock. It usually sits in a black velvet pouch with a dark green leather fob and a short chain. This watch has sentimental value—my grandfather gave it to me, and I really need it back. If you found it, I’d be grateful to meet up around the antique shops along Main Street or at the Sherman Theater area.
Lost blue plush teddy bear with a red scarf at a park in the Poconos.
My son accidentally left his favorite blue teddy bear at the park during our family trip to the Poconos last weekend. It's a soft plush bear wearing a tiny red scarf, and it's been with him since he was a baby. We retraced our steps but couldn’t find it anywhere. If you see it, please let me know; it would mean the world to us!
Lost vintage baseball card from the 1980s near a lake in the Poconos.
I think I lost my favorite vintage baseball card from the 1980s somewhere around the Poconos during my last visit. It features my all-time favorite player and has a bit of wear but is still in pretty good condition. I remember showing it to some friends while relaxing by the lake, and sometime after that, I realized it was missing. If anyone found it, I would greatly appreciate it back!
