Gold lacquer trumpet with engraved initials
I lost my gold lacquer trumpet yesterday around 3pm in downtown Pittsburgh. It's a Yamaha student trumpet; the bell has a tiny dent near the first valve and some lacquer wear. The bell is engraved with the initials 'N.R.' and the black hard case has a bright red interior and a zipper pull that's a bit loose. I think I last had it outside Heinz Hall on 6th Avenue after rehearsal, near the Cultural District. This trumpet means a lot to me—it's a gift from my grandfather, and I really need it back for my college auditions next week.
Red Yamaha snare drum with stickers
I found a red Yamaha snare drum with chrome hardware this afternoon around 2:15pm outside the Benedum Center on 7th Street in downtown Pittsburgh. It's a 14x5.5 inch shell with two stickers—a star sticker and a lightning-bolt patch—that are peeling but still pretty distinctive. The finish has a few nicks and a small dent on the rim near the throw-off, and the snare wires look a bit dusty from rain, but it's otherwise in decent shape. I’m hoping to return it to its owner; if you can describe one of the stickers or tell me where you last used it, I’ll bring it to you.
Red Yamaha 14-inch snare drum
I lost my red Yamaha 14-inch snare drum yesterday around 3pm near Heinz Hall on Penn Ave in downtown Pittsburgh. It's a glossy cherry-red shell with chrome hardware and a white drumhead. There's a small dent on the rim near the 7 o'clock lug, and a coffee stain along the outer edge. Inside the shell, there's a blue star-shaped sticker and a faded signature from my percussion instructor. It’s sentimental because it was a gift from my late grandfather who taught me to play, and I really need it back for tonight's rehearsal. If you've seen it, please drop me a message—I'd be incredibly grateful to get it back.
Black Snark clip-on tuner, lightly scratched
I lost my black Snark clip-on tuner yesterday around 3pm near the Starbucks on Liberty Avenue in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh. It's a palm-sized device with a bright LCD screen and a red rubber grip on the back, and there's a tiny crack in the bottom-right corner. I had tucked it into my guitar case after practice, about to head home along Liberty. This little tuner means a lot to me and helps me stay in time during gigs; I’d be beyond grateful to get it back if anyone found it. It also has a small sticker with my initials 'AY' on the back for identification.
Black Yamaha Stage Custom 5-piece drum kit
Hey Pittsburgh, I lost my black Yamaha Stage Custom 5-piece drum kit yesterday around 3pm. I had just wrapped a quick practice outside the Rex Theater on East Carson Street in the South Side when I realized it was gone. It's the 22" bass, 12" and 13" rack toms, 16" floor tom, and a 14" snare, all in black lacquer with white hardware. The bass drum head has a white lightning bolt sticker, and there’s a small dent on the hoop from a mis-timed bounce. This kit is my main practice gear and was a gift from my mentor, so I’m really hoping to get it back. If anyone found it, please drop me a message here—I’d really appreciate getting it back.
Lost alto saxophone with scratches and a unique engraving on the bell near North Shore, Pittsburgh.
I noticed my alto saxophone was missing after a picnic with friends at North Shore this past Saturday. It has a few scratches but is generally in good condition and has a unique engraving on the bell. I remember putting it down for a moment, but when I went back to check, it was gone. I really hope someone might have picked it up and can help me get it back. If found, please contact me.
