I lost my blue budgie parakeet yesterday around 4pm near Riverfront Park on Market Street in Parkersburg, right by the river walk benches. It's a small bird, mostly blue with a white belly and subtle black wing markings. It has a bright red leg band with the number 42 on it. This bird is the family's little chatterbox—my daughter named it Sky—and it means a lot to us, especially since we just moved here last month. If anyone spots him or finds him perched in a yard or tree, please reach out. We'd be forever grateful.

I lost my tiny dwarf hamster yesterday around 3pm in the Parkersburg-Marietta area. He’s about the size of a ping-pong ball, with gray-brown fur and a small white patch on his left ear, plus a cream belly. Last seen near the Market Street entrance to City Park, by the gazebo behind the fountain, in a clear plastic cage with a blue wheel. He’s gentle and curious, and this little guy has sentimental value for my family—especially my 4-year-old daughter. If you’ve seen him, please reach out; I’d really love to have him back.
Small leopard gecko in clear enclosure found near Market Street
I found a small leopard gecko this afternoon around 2:15pm along the Riverfront Trail behind Market Street in downtown Parkersburg (Parkersburg-Marietta area). It's about 4 inches from head to tail, tan with irregular dark brown spots and a pale yellow belly, and it's in a clear plastic enclosure with a tiny heat mat and a small hide. There’s a faint crescent-shaped scar above the left foreleg—easy to spot if you know the gecko. I found it near the Market Street Plaza area, close to the pedestrian bridge by the river. If you're the owner, shoot me a quick message and we’ll get this little guy home.

I lost my grey tabby cat yesterday around 3pm in the Parkersburg-Marietta area, last seen near the Parkersburg Library on Market Street. He's medium-sized, with a white heart-shaped patch on his chest and a tiny notch in his left ear, and he wears an orange collar with a small silver bell and a tag that reads 'Niko'. This cat means a lot to us—my daughter is really worried, and we've had him for over two years. If you spot him around Riverfront Park, along Market Street, or anywhere in town, please drop a note here so I can come get him.

I found a red-eared slider turtle this afternoon around 2:45pm near Riverfront Park along the Ohio River in the Parkersburg-Marietta area. It's about 4 inches long, with a bright green shell peppered with yellow speckles and a distinct red stripe behind each eye. The shell shows a tiny crescent-shaped scar on the left rear scute, and one tiny chip at the edge of the plastron. It seemed active, alert, and hungry but I didn’t want to keep it. If this is your pet or you know who it belongs to, I’m happy to hold onto it or arrange a safe drop-off near the Blennerhassett Ferry dock.
