Brass pocket watch found on Broad Street
I found a brass pocket watch this afternoon around 2:15 pm on Broad Street near the Covered Market in Oxford. It's a small brass case, about 2 inches across, with a glass face and a worn black leather fob. The back is engraved with the initials 'P.K.' and the glass has a tiny crack; the ticking is still steady when I move it. I know it probably meant a lot to someone, so I’d really like to help get it back to its owner.
Brass compass with leather fob
I lost a small brass compass with a brown leather fob yesterday around 3pm. It's about 2 inches across, with a worn brass finish and a tiny crack in the glass. The back is engraved with the initials 'LH' and there’s a frayed blue thread looped through the brass ring. The category is Other Miscellaneous Items. It was a gift from my grandfather and means a lot to me, especially for my field trips, so I’d really appreciate getting it back. If you found it near the Covered Market on Market Street in Oxford or by Blackwell's on Broad Street, drop me a message.
Blue Contigo mug with octopus sticker
I lost my blue Contigo travel mug yesterday around 4:15pm near the Covered Market on Cornmarket Street in Oxford. It's a 16-ounce stainless steel mug with a matte blue finish, a black lid, and a red button you press to open. On the bottom there's a small white octopus sticker I stuck there myself, plus a faint coffee ring stain around the rim from daily use. It’s a little scuffed from being banged around in my bag, but it still keeps heat surprisingly well. This mug is sentimental because it was a gift from my aunt overseas, and I really need it back. If you’ve seen it, please message me—I’ll swing by the Market or the university library to pick it up.
Lost red-and-white checkered picnic blanket near the riverbank parks in Oxford.
I lost my red-and-white checkered picnic blanket while visiting the parks around Oxford last Saturday. I had it laying on the grass while having a picnic with friends near the riverbank, and I accidentally left it behind when we packed up. It holds sentimental value, so if found, I'd really love to have it back!
