Found calico cat with pink collar near Duck Town Park
I found a small calico cat this afternoon around 3:15pm wandering near the Duck Town Park playground in Duck, Outer Banks. It has a pink collar with a tiny blue bell and white paws with an orange patch over its right eye. The cat looked a little nervous at first, but it let me pet it after I offered tuna from a can. It seems healthy and responsive, purring when I spoke softly. If someone is missing a cat that matches this description, please reach out—I’d love to reunite them. Found small gray hamster with blue collar
Found a tiny gray dwarf hamster this morning around 9:15am in the parking lot behind the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla, Outer Banks. It's palm-sized with soft fur, gray on top and a white belly, and there’s a crescent-shaped white patch on its left hind leg. It was wearing a light-blue harness-style collar with a tiny bell that jingles when it moves. The little guy seems healthy and curious, a bit shy at first but approachable with a treat. Sun conure with orange head and green body
I lost my sun conure yesterday around 3:30pm near the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kitty Hawk. It’s a small parrot, roughly palm-sized, with a bright orange head, yellow shoulders, and a green body. It wears a tiny blue leg band with the number 12 on it, and there’s a faint nick on its left wing from a bump last week. This bird is part of our family and has sentimental value — he’s helped my daughter through a rough year, and I’m really hoping to bring him home safely. Found a friendly, well-groomed gray tabby cat near the beach chairs in Outer Banks.
I found a sweet gray tabby cat today around the beach area while I was out for a morning walk. The cat seems friendly and is well-groomed but clearly lost, as it doesn’t have any tags. It was hiding near some beach chairs, looking a bit cold and scared. I am hoping to reunite it with its owner as soon as possible.
