Orange Le Creuset 3-qt Dutch oven, lost
I lost my orange Le Creuset 3-quart Dutch oven yesterday around 3pm near the Yaquina Bay Bridge in Newport, Oregon. It's the classic flame-orange enamel with a stainless steel knob and a lid that still seals perfectly. The pot is otherwise in great shape—no cracks and the enamel is still glossy—but there’s a tiny chip on the lid rim and a faint scratch inside from a tomato sauce spill. It was a gift from my mom, and cooking with it always feels like a hug from family; it has real sentimental value. If someone found it, I’d be forever grateful to get it back. Ceramic mug with seagull design found near Mo's Bayfront
I found this ceramic mug this afternoon around 3:20 pm along the Newport Bayfront, behind Mo's Restaurant and near the souvenir shop by the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. It's a white mug with a hand-painted seagull and tiny lighthouse motif, plus a small blue starfish sticker on the bottom. There's a tiny chip on the rim and the handle is a bit loose, which makes it feel like a well-loved kitchen staple. It clearly seems like kitchenware that someone uses daily, and I figured it might mean a lot to the owner. If it matches yours, we can figure out a good way to reunite it with you here in Newport.
